Do I need to be Super Fit?
Of course not!! Our facilities and camps are created for all levels of fitness, from beginners to Super Athletes. Its our job here at Mikes Gym to get the best out of each of our visitors. Our specialist coaches will lead you by the hand……if needed, through all of your challenges here.
What clothing will I need to bring with me?
Your usual training kit firstly, nothing in particular other than training shoes that you can use on our Obstacle Course and then some swimwear and a beach towel. During the Winter months you may want to consider bringing a light jacket.
Is there Wi-Fi access?
Yes, we have Wi-Fi access around the gym and in rooms. Access codes can be found on the notice board in the reception.
Do you arrange airport transfers?
Yes we can arrange for you. You would need to inform us of your flight arrival and departure details at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. Price is 45 euros per journey.
Do you provide towels?
Shower towels are provided in each of the cabins only. It is recommended that you bring extra towels for the pool/beach.
Are we provided with Snacks?
This is up to yourselves or your camp leader to provide extra snacks, shakes, juices, and water in-between meals. There are fridges in each of the cabins for your use. Tea and Coffee can be found in the kitchen area or Nespresso Coffee can be purchased in reception, along with other snacks and soft drinks.
Do you have a washing service?
We can provide you with a FREE KIT WASH ONLY service for stays of 1 week or longer. Any additional wash or shorter stay is charged at 5 euros per wash. No jeans, jumpers or tracksuits. You will be given a wash basket to put your kit in and we will wash for you and hand it back. You will be responsible for drying on the washing lines available outside your rooms.
Can I have a cabin to myself?
Only if there is availability. There is also a single supplement charge of 30 euros per night.
What time is departure from cabin?
We ask you to be ready to check out of your cabin after breakfast, between 9.00am and 10.00am for the next turnaround of clients.
Can I book a late check out?
Subject to availability. If you are wanting to stay on site after 12.00 noon you will need to purchase a Day Pass and any additional food required. Ask in reception for details.
Do I need to bring bed linen?
No, all bedding is provided in your cabins.
How far is the local town and supermarket?
Our local town of La Cala de Mijas is 4km away. By car it’s 3 or 4 minutes dribe. It takes approx. 30 minutes to walk down or 45 minutes to walk back up. Local Taxis are cheap and we can arrange for you if needed.
What if I am a picky eater or have allergies?
Please let us know 2 weeks before your arrival about any food intolerances and our chef will work around them where possible. We will cater for vegetarians, allergies and religious requirements only but not food dislikes. Gluten Free meals can be arranged with an extra charge.
Can I buy extra food on site?
Yes this can be arranged with our chef if you require extra food prepared. There will be an extra charge per meal.
